I said the week before that I was attending some conferences but I could not share my learning with you last week because I was still processing…

I felt like I was overloaded with knowledge so I spent this week distilling and I must say I enjoyed some intellectually stimulating discusses. .
One of my favorite hobbies is establishing patterns and connecting the dots and I shared that in a recent interview I did with Nigerian Tribune. .
As I listened to the inspiring speakers at both conferences, I noticed a pattern; their ideas were not necessarily novel, but what made them stand out was that they were b.a.e!.
By that I mean brilliant at execution and not before anyone else as the popular acronym…lol..
As I heard Mo Abudu and Bishop David Oyedepo speak on their accomplishments at the excellent leaders conference, I realized that they were not the first to come up with the ideas they had executed, but they had executed it more brilliantly than people who had done it before them..
It reminded me once again that ideas are cheap….execution is the real gold!.
A few years ago, I met a team of angel investors that invested in early stage businesses and I asked them what they looked for in the person or team they chose to invest in and they said; the idea is not as important as how passionate the person is to execute the idea..
The bottom line is ideas are a dime in a dozen and knowing how to execute properly and get results is what is more important..
Various business owners share their ideas with me to find out what I think, and I am usually honest if I think it is a good idea or not..
However, the challenge is how to execute the idea and find the right business model that will be acceptable to the customers they want to reach.
So back to my questions,are you b.a.e? Think about this as you develop your business or business idea. .
