I had a mind expanding experience over the weekend at the event my Mentor-Mrs Adenike Ogunlesi organized to share her knowledge and talk about my book; Uplevel..

Two of my ‘aha’ moments were:.

1. When I asked her the question about story story telling which is the 2nd part of my book Uplevel, she shared that the best way to tell your story is to live the story first, so that it is authentic and connects you with people. This resonates with what wrote in the chapter on crafting your story..

It also made me resolve to ‘live’ the story I will like to tell in future. Did you get that?.

2. I asked her about decision making and she taught us her decision making methodology of first analyzing your present state and painting a picture of your desired state..

From that I learned the power of creating your future by painting a vision and the deciding the person you need to become and the actions you need to take to make it happen..

It was quite profound to me because she showed us examples of areas where she applied this in her Organization and got her desired result..

What is your own desired state?.

I shared on my Facebook live broadcast on Friday that our flagship boot Accelerate business growth boot camp is open for a new session..
