If you could enter a time machine and step into your business in 2023, what will it look like?

 

This is the generation of entrepreneurship!

five times more businesses have started in this decade than in any other decade before that.

 

In my recent article for Bellanaija, I wrote about it and the fact that unfortunately, over 80% of these businesses will remain micro or eventually die.

How will you ensure you are at the positive end of this statistics?

Looking through the time machine, will your business remain micro or will it have scaled by 2023?

 

When I spoke at AWEP annual Conference in Abuja some weeks ago, I asked the attendees how many of them would like to build a business that will hit a billion mark, over 90% of them raised their hands.

That already proves to me that having the desire is not the problem!

However based on the above statistics, this will be a far fetched dream for majority.

 

I am not a prophet of doom, I just like to tell you the truth.

And why is that? because most businesses do not have high growth potential, so they are unlikely to scale.
