A few days ago, I interviewed several inspiring people for an upcoming project( I can’t wait to tell you about it) and I noticed something that was quite common with most of them; they did not get the support of those close to them when they first started..

It has been said several times that entrepreneurship is a lonely journey and it truly can be sometimes….

How do you explain to people that your business is driven by a mixture of hope and  strategy?.

How many people can grasp the fact that your bank account can go from millions to nearly zero in a matter of weeks because you are investing in an upcoming project?.

Or the fact that 10 days to pay day, you are not sure you will make payroll?.

If you are currently running a business, you probably can understand my sentiments and if you are just trying to nurture one, get ready for the roller coaster ride……

As the year is coming to an end with a lot of uncertainty in the economic climate, you need to develop strategic alliances and collaborations alongside your faith as your prepare for 2017..

This is a season when working together will make more sense that trying to work alone.

That’s why I am organizing year end meetups in Lagos and Abuja..

The Lagos meetup is on Saturday 3rd December. I have a speaking engagement in Abuja on Saturday 17th of December, so I am using the opportunity to have a meetup there also. .
