A few weeks ago, I happened upon a video clip of a prank call to Linda Ikeji by a radio station in Abuja which was made a few years ago. The caller pretended to be the daughter of a rich senator who offered to buy her blog..
She was asked how much she would sell the blog for and she said $10 million! She immediately went on to say she was joking, as she did not want to sell her blog or business because she knew she will be worth more than that in a few years..
Fast forward today with the launch of her media empire and I am sure you have heard the news about Linda Ikeja Social as it has been the buzz of the media this week and she has over 70,000 subscribers within one week..
If this momentum continues and becomes as successful as her blog, I believe she will be worth billions in the next few years..
